Yet another version of the UnreadColor tool

I have now posted a version of the tool that no longer deletes the file platform.xml at the end and therefore takes away the risk of trashing your Notes configuration.
Just download the zip-file and unzip the 3 files form the zip file to a directory. Start the executable ModNotesCSS-RGB.exe and select your color.
After running the tool and selecting your color, just start Notes, go to Preferences, Windows and Themes, select a different theme and click on Apply. Then select the theme you were using and again click on Apply. Your new unread color will show up in your mailfile.
You can download the tool here.

I've also tried the manual way: edit notes.css and deleted platform.xml. Still no luck =P

there're 2 com.ibm.notes.branding_8.0.x.xxxxxxxx-xxxx files.
Just make sure you remove/rename one of them.
Cheers

there is nothing to uninstall because nothing is being installed
You can check your directory [Notes program directory]\framework\shared\eclipse\plugins
You should have 1 file there called com.ibm.notes.branding_[version number].jar. If you have 2 then the removal of files from the older version failed.
