Sametime server 8.0.2 and unexpected logouts

In december I upgraded our Sametime server to version 8.0.2. Since that day when a user was logged in to Sametime using either the standalone Sametime Connect client or the Notes integrated Sametime client and would subsequently log in to iNotes or Quickr he/she was logged out of the Sametime client.
Awareness worked just fine in iNotes and Quickr but is was just very inconvenient having to re-login to Sametime after shutting down iNotes or Quickr.
Yesterday I solved the problem by adding VPS_BYPASS_SINGLE_MACHINE_LOGIN=1 to the [Debug] section of the sametime.ini.
For some reason Sametime server 8.0.2 thinks that logging into Sametime using port 1533 and subsequently logging into Sametime using port 80 from either iNotes or Quickr are two logins from two seperate machines.
I have a PMR open with IBM support and am trying to find out if this was indeed changed in Sametime 8.0.2.

We are experiencing the same issue after upgrading to Sametime 8.0.2. Did you hear anything back about your PMR?
