Performance XPage website in 8.5.1 much faster

I build an intranet website based on Xpages for a customer. It was deployed on a Domino 8.5.0 server. Most of the comments were about the loadtime, when the website was loaded for the first time in the browser.
This week the customer upgraded their Domino servers to 8.5.1
The first thing they experienced was a much faster loadtime when the loading the website in the browser for the first time.
So they timed and they discovered that the loadtime was 2 times faster on Domino 8.5.1
Good news, I think.
